Your 2020 San Francisco Camps Guide

Looking for a fun adventure for your kids this summer? We’ve got you covered. Here are our top choices for kids camps this summer in the SF Bay Area.

Ages: 3.5-10 years old

Dates: June 3 – June 28th

STEMful camps are designed to introduce your kids to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics through hands-on, interactive activities and projects, along with field trips to complement weeklong concept engagements.

Always Learning & Growing

Ages: 3-8 years old

Dates: June 1st – August 28th

This outdoor nature camp is the perfect place for kids to be active, explore, create art, and observe nature while making new friends. Always Learning and Growing encourages confidence, creative expression, and actively involves your child in planning the camp day. Small group sizes and well trained teachers give each child quality attention and care.

SF Botanical Garden

Ages: 4-10 years old

Dates: Multiple dates available

Designed to connect children to plants through a combination of structured, themed activities and open-ended time to develop curiosity, initiative, imagination and creativity. Themes include gardening, art, wellness, and ecology. The Garden has a proven track record for providing high-quality youth education programs to children and families for more than 20 years. Last year, nearly 13,000 children experienced the Garden through programs. Garden Camp extends this experience, affording children another way to explore, discover, and love the Garden.

Culinary Artistas

Ages: 4-14 years old

Dates: Multiple dates available in June & July

The main activities are cooking and tasting projects: kids make lunch, morning and afternoon snacks that everyone eats together. Culinary Artista brings engagement and exploration to the table, so even the pickiest eaters can find something to have fun with. Between cooking, kids have time for drawing, reading, and games. Weather permitting, campers will also get the chance to go outside to play at nearby parks and the beach at Aquatic Park.
