In a city of street fests, one would be hard-pressed to find one more iconic than Taste of Lincoln Avenue. It’s legendary for many reasons. Celebrating its 36th year in 2019, it’s easily one of the city’s oldest summer happenings. The fest sprawls over several city blocks in the heart of the vibrant Lincoln Park neighborhood. It offers lots of fun things beyond its 100 vendors. Including two stages of great music featuring national and regional acts. For families there’s the wildly popular (and free) “Kids’ Carnival” area open each afternoon that features entertainment, art activities, pony rides, kiddie rides and more!

Yoga, Brunch, & Bubbles

Smaller kids will love the Big Kahuna Kiddie Area, and anyone who wants more mellow fun can relax on the floating rides. Dry off and check out the Dive-In Theater, arcades and Hooligan’s Harbor, where you can have an epic pirate battle by remote control.
