As any parent of dictators toddlers know—toddlers have demands requests. My toddler is no exception. She has voiced (for the past two weeks) that we do “mooochik and paint, now!” I’ve placated her requests by distracting her with visits to the splash park, but today she turns two.

Cue music: “hey shawty, it’s your birthday!”

All I can say is THANK YOU Pearachute! I was able to fulfill her… let’s just call it what it is, DEMANDS for music and paint on her birthday.

We started off her day with Tiny Tunemakers. We even made it into a playdate with our friends! She got to dance, make music, and most importantly—get those wiggles out.

Tiny TunemakersThen, we went to Easel Art Studio in Bucktown. Both kids heard the story Iggy Peck Architect and created their own Willis tower WITH a moving elevator! So cool!

Obviously, after working on our gross motor, fine motor, and cognitive skills—we had to make a pit stop for birthday treats. If you haven’t been to Sweet Mandy B’s—drop everything you’re doing and go there NOW. You can thank me later.

Thanks to Pearachute, my hysterical, stubborn spunky, creative little one had an amazing birthday. These #birthdaymoments are also #pearachutemoments, so I’m starting a new hashtag… #pearachutebirthdaymoments
